Okay I am bored =.=
I found something to write about , about my interest and passion for photography :)
It all started when my English teacher picked me and three other friends for a photojournalism workshop which was organised by Water Indah , British Council and News Strait times . This happened when I was in standard five . Before attending the workshop I already loved photography as I made my mom and dad's Canon camera my own :) . It was an old school camera it wasn't even digital :)
The task that we were given by that workshop was to catch 10 or 20 pictures *I can't remember* that had something to do with water . So , yesss I and my other three friends made an arrangement to go to Lake Garden and my dad volunteered to bring us there . And and they gave us a disposable camera . So yeahh , we took turns taking photo's of the water . We had fun although it was hot that day .
After that I gave the camera to my teacher for her to wash them . After the photo's was washed we had to write captions for each photo taken . My teacher helped us with it . She gave us a beautiful caption for a photo that was taken by me :) And after finishing it my teacher send it back . It wasn't a competition , it was a workshop .
Then they had the second gathering when I was twelve . Where they gave us certificates and told us who's photo and caption was the best . And the best photo with the caption was ours :)
I got interviewed by one of the journalists there . And I also came out in the papers :)
It is something that I achieved back then , and I will continue learning about photography :)
Thank you Mrs Sarasvathy for giving me this opportunity :)
May you rest in peace :(
